Job summary

Capital Square Living is seeking a Service Manager for onsite oversight of maintenance and operations at our community. You will lead a team to diagnose defects, complete repairs, and ensure safety and quality in buildings, grounds, and amenities.

You will coordinate make-ready activities for vacant units, manage vendors, and maintain inventories while upholding CS Living standards. A strong focus on resident service and cost-conscious practices is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience considered.
• Must be proficient with basic hand and power tools and safe operation of equipment.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write, and document information clearly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep by diagnosing issues and repairing per safety standards.
• Oversee and complete make-ready process for vacant homes: pre-move inspections, vendor coordination, and scheduling.
• Set and maintain cleanliness/appearance standards for grounds, buildings, and common areas to reflect CS Living quality.
• Periodically inspect work by team members and contractors; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and coordinate with Community Manager to stay within budget.
