Capital Square Living is seeking a Service (Maintenance) Specialist to handle on-site maintenance tasks, respond to resident requests, and keep buildings, grounds, and amenities in top condition.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, prepare vacants, and assist with inspections while maintaining safety standards and excellent resident service. A positive, team-focused attitude is essential for success in this competitive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to diagnose and fix issues.
• Strong organizational skills and a customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Make repairs per policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Prepare vacant units for leasing and new move-ins.
• Obtain supplies, complete tasks, and inspect work.
• Assist with grounds, common areas, and amenities maintenance.
• Pressure-wash walkways and pool areas; perform general cleaning and painting as needed.
• Conduct routine property inspections to identify safety concerns.
• Respond to questions and resolve resident problems calmly and professionally.
• Keep the property in good repair and communicate needs to management.
