Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational facets of the property. You will handle daily accounting tasks, rent collections, and reporting, while coordinating with maintenance and leasing teams to maximize revenue and resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, a detail-oriented mindset, and experience with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in residence life or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms and enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collects rent and other payments; posts transactions and prepares deposits.
• Operates Yardi/OneSite; maintains data accuracy and backups.
• Reviews accounts for unpaid balances; communicates with residents about delinquencies.
• Reviews vendor invoices; coordinates payments and codes expenditures.
• Assists in evictions per policy and represents the community in court as needed.
• Supports leasing/marketing by greeting prospects and assisting with applications.
