IES is seeking a Superintendent to manage medium to large projects, ensuring safety, quality, and financial performance in line with company requirements. You will lead staffing, scheduling, and on-site operations to deliver customer-ready results.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication with customers and internal teams, and the ability to manage costs, timelines, and quality across multiple crews. Travel within territory may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum three years as Lead Communications Technician or similar.
• Minimum five years in telecommunications or related field.
• Proficient with a computer; skilled with Microsoft Office.
• Must meet company driving standards.
• Ability to define project scope, prepare estimates and manage tasks.
• Experience using specified trade tools.

Responsibilities

• The Superintendent will recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise, promote, discipline and discharge staff per Company policy.
• The Superintendent acts as the senior Company liaison for customer interface.
• The Superintendent will plan for, manage, monitor and maintain project profitability.
• The Superintendent will ensure deadlines are met per customer requirements.
• The Superintendent will manage workload distribution and staffing levels.
• The Superintendent manages successful job completion and budget compliance.
• The Superintendent will review job cost postings and invoicing and reporting.
• The Superintendent will complete project paperwork accurately and on time.
• The Superintendent will perform quality checks and safety oversight.
• The Superintendent serves as on-site customer contact and attends meetings.
• The Superintendent will resolve technical issues and improve processes.
• The Superintendent will monitor processes for accuracy and efficiency.
• The Superintendent will develop and implement process improvements.
• The Superintendent will coordinate with Training Department on safety and quality.
• The Superintendent will lead operations meetings and training sessions.
• The Superintendent will manage tools and vehicle inventory/maintenance.
• The Superintendent will complete other assigned responsibilities.
