Job summary

Hensel Phelps in Oak Ridge, TN seeks a Project Engineer to handle on-site project administration and oversee the office engineers and the jobsite administrator. You will collaborate with the project manager, assist in scheduling, cost tracking, and coordination with owners and trade partners to advance project goals.

Ideal candidates bring a civil/structural/construction management degree, strong communication, and experience with Primavera and Autodesk tools.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Experience with project management software.
• Prolog, Primavera and Autodesk Suite familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager and superintendents with data collection and monthly owner pay applications.
• Identify and resolve interface conflicts among trade partners.
• Assist in interpretation of drawings, RFIs, and questions from architect/engineer.
• Develop and manage cost control and labor recap with the PM and superintendent.
• Process and estimate change orders and information requests.
• Support development and management of the project schedule.
