Job summary

Kokosing, a major General Contractor, seeks an onsite construction engineering professional to plan, develop, coordinate, and manage engineering activities for heavy highway and bridge projects. You will ensure compliance with contract requirements and support the project schedule using Primavera P6.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and effective communication to resolve conflicts and maintain quality and progress on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred or equivalent.
• 2+ years of construction engineering experience.
• Bridge experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and manage onsite construction engineering activities for Heavy Highway and bridge projects.
• Manage project engineering and personnel functions including planning, assignments, and discipline as needed.
• Ensure project engineering activities comply with contract requirements and support the construction schedule (Primavera P6).
• Provide technical support for construction planning, design interpretation, and resolution of design conflicts.
• Develop and administer project engineering procedures, submittals, RFIs, expediting deliveries, and pay requests.
