Job summary

Kokosing, a leading general contractor, is seeking an onsite Construction Engineering Professional to plan, develop, coordinate, and manage engineering activities for heavy highway and bridge projects. The role requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management background with 2+ years of construction engineering experience; bridge experience is a plus.

Strong communication and team leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent) required.
• 2+ years of construction engineering experience required.
• Bridge experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and manage onsite construction engineering activities for heavy highway and bridge projects.
• Manage project engineering personnel, assignments, and administrative actions.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and support project schedule (Primavera P6).
• Provide technical support during planning, design interpretation, and construction methods.
• Develop and administer project engineering procedures and submittals, RFIs, and material expediting.
• Represent the company in meetings with A/E, clients, and project management.
• Coordinate on-site departments to resolve issues and maintain schedule.
• Oversee pre-construction services, design-build services, and business development for the project.
• Perform additional assignments as directed.
