Job summary

Kokosing Construction Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Engineer to join our onsite team for heavy highway and bridge projects.

This role plans, develops, coordinates, and manages onsite construction engineering activities to support the project schedule and ensure quality and compliance. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, with 2+ years of construction engineering experience; bridge experience is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equal technical training) with 2+ years of construction engineering experience.
• Bridge experience is a strong plus.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage project engineering and related personnel functions and activities.
• Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support the project schedule (Primavera P6).
• Provide technical support for construction planning and design; interpret design; apply construction methods; resolve design conflicts; review contractibility.
