Job summary

Entergy seeks a Mgr, Project Development to lead early-stage project development across Distribution, coordinating cross-functional teams to define scope, develop cost estimates, and execution plans, while guiding Stage Gate processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, at least 7 years in utilities, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with distribution operations and cost recovery. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or construction-related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of utility experience.

Responsibilities

• Liaise among planning, project management, construction and engineering groups to align scopes and lead early-stage development.
• Lead teams in cost estimates and Stage Gate approvals for early-stage funding decisions.
• Produce and deliver project execution plan documents for Stage 3 funding.
• Define project scope across reliability, planning, and resiliency with field visits for scoping.
• Maintain and improve cost-estimating tools by integrating Maximo data with input from design, engineering, and construction teams.
• Identify, track, and communicate project risks to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Find opportunities to streamline capital investments between transmission and distribution projects.
