Job summary

Entergy seeks a Supervisor, Distribution Protection to lead a team of engineers across Entergy’s service territory. You will manage device coordination, settings development, and self-healing network schemes, while guiding capital projects and 24/7 response to urgent issues.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and offers leadership in a critical utility domain with travel up to 25%. The position is onsite across multiple Entergy locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Professional Engineering License is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership and promote a strong safety culture.
• Develop reporting on metrics related to Distribution Automation and Power Delivery.
• Supervise staff and coordinate workload to meet reliability initiatives and provide 24/7 support.
• Oversee coordination and settings for 3PH and 1PH devices, including DG/DER integration.
• Develop settings for voltage regulators, capacitors, and self-healing devices.
• Serve as technical expert for automation, settings, and control issues.
• Storm lead during large events to restore Distribution Protection assets.
• Coordinate feeder breakers, reclosers, and fuses with related teams.
