Job summary

Entergy is seeking a senior leader to direct a project development team responsible for major power plant initiatives, including greenfield and brownfield developments valued above $250M. You will drive the development pipeline, procure Owner's Engineer services, negotiate EPC contracts, and oversee front-end loading to ensure a smooth hand-off to execution teams.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, stakeholder collaboration, and a proven track record in project and construction

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field OR 4 years of equivalent related work experience (in addition to Minimum Experience requirement) in lieu of degree.
Preferred: MBA, Masters in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management.

Responsibilities

Organizes and leads a project development team focused on large generation projects, ensuring alignment with corporate standards.
Manages development of project vision and execution philosophy through Stage Gate lifecycle processes.
Oversees contract negotiations and ensures safety, cost, and schedule targets are met.
Develops relationships with stakeholders and regulators to support project viability and approvals.
Provides timely project status reports and mentors team members toward professional growth.
