Job summary

EDG Inc in Metairie, LA is seeking a Project Manager to oversee electric utility projects from initiation to closeout. You will lead a cross-functional team of design and construction engineers and manage budgets and schedules.

The role requires 5–10 years of PM experience in electric utilities, knowledge of PMBOK, Primavera P6 or MS Project, and strong leadership and communication skills. A Bachelor's degree is required; MBA or PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires 5–10 years of Project Management experience, Electric Utility
• Transmission/Distribution/Power Generation or Municipal Utility experience required
• Must have strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
• Must work effectively in a matrix environment without direct authority
• Experience with cost management and scheduling
• Familiarity with client systems for cost and schedule reporting

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional design and construction teams through project lifecycle
• Develop project scoping plans, costs, and schedules
• Maintain program costs and budgets; provide weekly and monthly reports
• Prepare and update funding requests and work orders
• Conduct gate reviews with the Program Manager
• Ensure adherence to client procedures and safety policies
