Job summary

Qualifications

• This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction-related field or equivalent work experience.
• An advanced degree is preferred.
• 7 years of utility experience.
• High degree of analytical skill and ability to understand impacts of decisions.

Responsibilities

• Liaise among planning, project management, construction and engineering groups, external stakeholders, and leadership to align project scopes and lead early-stage development activities.
• Lead teams in developing cost estimates and managing Stage Gate approvals for early-stage project funding decisions.
• Lead the team to produce and deliver project execution plan documents needed to support Stage 3 funding.
• Guide a system-wide team in defining project scope across reliability, planning, and resiliency efforts, including field visits for scoping.
• Maintain and improve cost-estimating tools for Distribution by integrating Maximo data, coordinating tool updates with input from design, engineering, PM and construction teams.
• Lead a team that identifies, tracks, and communicates project risks to leadership and cross-functional teams.
