Job summary

OPW Clean Energy Solutions in Ball Ground, Georgia, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing activities onsite, ensuring safety and quality while meeting production schedules. You will coordinate with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to drive continuous improvement and workforce development.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in fabrication/welding manufacturing with supervisory experience, strong drawing interpretation, and lean knowledge. AWS cert is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical education preferred.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience in fabrication or welding environments; 2+ years in supervision.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, fabrication methods, drawings, and quality requirements.
• Experience leading production teams in schedule-driven environments with SQDC accountability.
• AWS certification or equivalent credential is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Execute daily/weekly production schedules and manage recovery actions when missed.
• Plan and allocate labor based on qualifications and constraints; manage staffing and overtime.
• Lead meetings, monitor KPIs, and escalate issues with timely actions.
• Identify constraints and coordinate with support functions to resolve them.
• Ensure compliance with standard work, drawings, welding procedures, and quality requirements.
• Coach and develop workforce; maintain training, certifications, and skills matrices.
• Collaborate with Quality and Engineering on root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement through 5S, visual management, and Kaizen.
• Maintain production records, equipment calibration, and tool readiness.
