Job summary

OPW seeks a Production Supervisor for its Ball Ground, GA facility. The role oversees daily production, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met while coordinating with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance.

You will develop and coach the team, manage scheduling, and drive continuous improvement in a high-precision fabrication environment. The position requires 3–5 years in manufacturing with welding knowledge, strong leadership, and ability to read engineering drawings

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of manufacturing experience in a fabrication or welding environment.
• Experience leading production teams in a schedule-driven manufacturing environment with accountability for safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• AWS (American Welding Society) certification or equivalent credential preferred but not required unless needed for assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets.
• Plan and allocate labor based on production requirements, constraints, and priorities; manage staffing and overtime within guidelines.
• Lead daily production and tier meetings, review performance against KPIs, and escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve manufacturing and welding-related issues and drive corrective actions.
