Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a focused CNC Machinist to perform setups, machine adjustments, minor repairs, testing, calibration, and operation of CNC and manual machinery at our Florence, KY site. You will implement programs to minimize changeovers and downtime, ensuring smooth production.

Responsibilities include interpreting instructions, setting up machines, maintaining tool accuracy, performing first-piece inspections for runs, reporting malfunctions, and adhering to ISO 9001/QOPs and API 671

Qualifications

• Ability to understand, interpret, and carry out job instructions.
• Proficiency in arithmetic, decimals, and fractions.
• Experience with complex products, machines, and processes such as turning and milling.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret instructions for machine setup.
• Set up machines or cells according to instructions and sheets.
• Maintain dimensions, coolant, and lubrication levels during runs.
• Operate designated CNC and manual machines with care for quality output.
• Break down setups and clean work area after operations.
• Create and save setup sheets; store programs on network for reuse.
• Perform first piece inspection for runs over three pieces; approve setups.
• Report equipment malfunctions or material discrepancies to supervisor.
• Complete training provided by Power Transmission Solutions.
• Adhere to safety procedures and keep work area clean.
• Train new employees and promote team concepts.
• Follow ISO 9001 QOPs and API 671 guidelines.
