Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Onsite Printer Technician to maintain and support a fleet of printers and multifunction devices at client sites. You will manage consumables, perform basic break-fix repairs, and ensure device uptime while providing excellent customer service.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, perform IMACD activities, and coordinate with vendors for repairs. Strong communication and independent work skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting printers, copiers, multifunction devices, or hardware in a corporate environment.
• Experience troubleshooting printer hardware, print queues, connectivity issues, and basic break-fix repairs.
• Experience with ticketing systems and service management processes.
• Ability to replace consumables, perform preventive maintenance, and manage device inventory.
• Experience working directly with end users and providing customer support.

Responsibilities

• Manage toner, paper, and other consumable inventory and replace consumables as needed.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on printers and multifunction devices; swap devices with onsite spares when necessary.
• Clear paper jams and resolve basic device issues; troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
• Create, track, and update support tickets; coordinate with HP and third-party vendors for repairs.
• Respond to user inquiries and provide timely issue resolution; maintain strong customer relationships.
