Job summary

HCA Healthcare seeks a Physician Office Scheduler to manage patient appointments, verify insurance, and coordinate with physician offices. The role requires handling calls, updating scheduling systems, and ensuring accurate demographics and pre-cert/authorization data where needed.

The position is onsite five days a week with a schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, based in Savannah, GA. Potential for future hybrid arrangements may arise as we progress.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience preferred.
• Previous patient scheduling experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Schedules all patient appointments for physician practices including cancellations and changes.
• Insurance verification and verification of patient demographics.
• Inform physician office staff or patient of testing requirements and scheduling details.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness in the scheduling module.
