Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Physician Office Scheduler in Savannah, GA to work onsite Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. You will answer calls, schedule patient visits in the registration system, verify insurance, and coordinate with physician offices to ensure smooth patient flow.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of scheduling experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and comfort using scheduling modules. Hybrid work may be considered later as the team evolves.

Qualifications

• One year of related scheduling experience preferred.
• Previous patient scheduling experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Schedule: 8:30 am to 5 pm EST, Monday to Friday
• Onsite in Savannah, GA; hybrid potential later.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Schedule all patient appointments for physician practices, including cancellations and changes.
• Insurance verification and verification of patient demographics.
• Inform patients about in- and out-of-network carrier plans.
• Provide Good Faith Estimates (GFE) upon request.
• Enter testing requirements and queries in the scheduling module.
• Ensure edits and complete information in the scheduling module.
• Coordinate with physician office staff for pre-cert/authorization numbers.
• Identify correct patient medical record numbers consistently.
• Communicate with physician offices as needed.
