Job summary

HCA Healthcare is hiring a Patient Scheduling Call Center Agent to handle incoming calls, schedule physician appointments in the registration system, perform insurance verification, and route calls to the appropriate department.

This full-time, remote role requires being on the phone most of the day, training for three weeks, and meeting daily metrics; weekend-free CST hours across multiple shifts. Training 8:00–16:30 CST for the first 3 weeks.

Qualifications

• One year of call center customer service experience highly preferred
• This Work from Home position requires that you live and will perform the duties of the position within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare Hospital (Our hospitals are located in the following states: FL, GA, ID, KS, KY, MO, NV, NH, NC, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA).
• This position will require you to be on the phone 95% of your day. Must be able to handle high inbound call volumes and meet daily metrics

• Insurance verification and verification of patient demographics

The Patient Scheduling Call Center Agent is responsible for answering incoming phone calls, scheduling patient physician appointments in the registration system, insurance verification, routing calls and communicating to the appropriate department or physician offices.

• 830am-5pm CST

• 930am-6pm CST

• 1030am-7pm CST

Training schedule is full-time for the first 3 weeks. Qualified candidates must be able to train Monday - Friday 8am-430pm CST for the first 3 weeks.
