Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Recruiter to manage full life-cycle recruiting for 30-50 positions, mostly hourly. This on-site role focuses on sourcing, interviewing, offers, and onboarding across our Phoenix and Las Vegas operations.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years recruiting experience in a large, decentralized or centralized company environment.
• Bilingual Spanish candidates with fluency in reading/writing highly preferred
• Must have demonstrated internal customer service skills, including troubleshoot and problem solving experiences.
• Must have demonstrated strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Maintains effective relationships with HR and Operational partners to meet staffing service levels through area staffing plans.
• Confers with management and supervisors to identify staffing needs, conduct intake/scoping calls, and set expectations for hiring managers.
• Manages the necessary sourcing and advertising of openings.
• Develops and maintains relationships with technical schools, colleges, alumni groups, military sources, and diversity organizations to attract applicants.
• Manages and facilitates onsite hiring events (open houses, career fairs, interview days).
• Conducts electronic screening and phone screening of candidates, updating status in our tracking system.
• Maintains communication with hiring managers on active candidates and upcoming needs.
• Coordinates background checks and reference checks where appropriate.
• Coaches hiring managers on recruiting practices to ensure policies and legal requirements are met.
• Keeps up-to-date knowledge of recruiting strategies and ensures compliance with EEO/ADA.
• Supports Penske diversity initiatives and objectives.
