Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Driver Hiring Specialist based in Phoenix, AZ. You will source, interview, and make hiring decisions for professional truck drivers and manage the full life-cycle recruiting process across the United States and Canada.

You will handle candidate sourcing, application capture, phone screenings, scheduling road tests and drug screens, and coordinate with field operations managers while maintaining compliance and providing a high-touch candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Experience sourcing and managing driver leads via calls, email, and social media.
• Experience interviewing and hiring drivers; ability to meet minimum qualifications.
• Proficiency with Recruit/Applicant systems (Salesforce.com, Oracle) and MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience; bilingual preferred

Responsibilities

• Source and manage driver leads via various channels and present value proposition.
• Take and input applications, ensure DOT/compliance.
• Conduct phone/video interviews and extend offers.
• Coordinate scheduling of road tests, drug screens, and manager introductions with location managers.
