The ideal candidate has ADP Workforce Now experience, a strong accounting background, and 5+ years in payroll, with deep knowledge of California labor laws and tax rules.

Qualifications

• 1 year supervisory experience.
• 5+ years of payroll experience.
• In-depth knowledge of CA payroll laws and taxation.
• ADP Workforce Now experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll for 760+ employees across CA & AZ.
• Oversee day-to-day payroll department operations.
• Lead a payroll team of one and provide guidance and training.
• Ensure compliance with all payroll laws and regulations.
• Develop improvements to payroll processes for efficiency.
• Prepare and submit payroll compliance reports.
• Collaborate with HR and Accounting to align payroll with finances.
• Process bonuses, special payrolls, and employment verifications.
• Run weekly/bi-weekly payroll audits and generate reports.
