• Knowledge of payroll journal entries, medical deductions, and vacation accruals

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 39 stores and 760+ employees across CA and AZ
• Oversee day-to-day payroll department operations
• Lead and develop the payroll team and coordinate with HR and Accounting
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws
• Prepare and submit payroll compliance reports and audits
• Process bonuses, special payrolls, and employment verifications
• Run payroll audits and maintain payroll records
• Create journal entries for deductions and accruals
