The position involves managing bi-weekly payroll processing, compliance, tax withholdings, and complex adjustments, with onsite work five days a week. Strong Excel skills and ability to handle inquiries are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of payroll processing experience.
• Extensive Paylocity experience is required.
• Experience processing payroll for 500+ employees.
• Knowledge of payroll taxes, garnishments, deductions, and compliance requirements.
• Experience handling complex payroll adjustments and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with payroll audit reports.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 600 employees across multiple states.
• Serve as the primary payroll contact and own end-to-end payroll processes.
• Administer payroll activities including hires, terminations, retroactive pay, PTO payouts, severance, garnishments, deductions, and payroll taxes.
• Process and reconcile commission payments and complex commission structures.
• Ensure correct assignment to cost centers and business units across ~50 agencies/entities.
• Maintain audit-ready payroll records and respond to employee inquiries.
