Job summary

EDP is seeking a payroll specialist to join our Chicago team. You will handle weekly and bi-weekly payrolls across multiple states for salaried and hourly staff, using UKGPro and WFM to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will respond to payroll inquiries, audit timekeeping, and support audits while maintaining confidential data and working onsite in Chicago. The role starts with strong emphasis on accuracy and timely payroll processing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll processing experience across multiple states.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and accuracy in, timekeeping and deductions.
• Proficiency in UKGPro and related HR/payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and deductions for multiple entities.
• Prepare, audit, and reconcile weekly and bi-weekly payroll runs for salaried and hourly staff.
• Resolve payroll inquiries via phone and email with clear policy explanations.
• Support timekeeping and timesheet corrections, ensuring timely payroll finalization.
• Process off-cycle payrolls and garnishments; comply with tax regulations.
