You will be the first contact for patients, handling up to 75 inbound calls daily, scheduling appointments, and guiding them through portals and EMR systems. The position pays $18–$19 per hour with standard onsite hours; full‑time, in‑office environment supporting a patient‑focused care model across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Required 1 year of customer service experience (healthcare strongly preferred)
• Strong multitasking ability in a fast‑paced, high‑call‑volume environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Dependability and punctuality
• Ability to type 40–50 WPM
• A genuine desire to help patients
• Preferred Healthcare call center or medical office experience
• Experience with EMR systems
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience

Responsibilities

• Answer up to 75 inbound patient calls daily with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy
• Schedule appointments, transfer calls, and create detailed messages for clinical teams
• Research patient inquiries including medical record status and general questions
• Triage patient concerns to determine urgency and next steps
• Manage provider schedules, including reschedules and cancellations
• Process website appointment requests and custom forms
• Assist patients with portal/website/EMR troubleshooting
• Support staff with website or portal questions
• Work in a large, high‑volume office with 25 providers
• This is not a front‑facing role — it is 100% call‑center‑based patient support.
