Job summary

Ensemble is seeking an entry-level Patient Access Specialist for an on-site role at Ardent - UT Health Athens in Athens, TX. The position handles admitting duties, MRN assignment, insurance collection, and patient education while ensuring compliance and quality service.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of customer service experience, a high school diploma, and a willingness to obtain CRCR certification within six months.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience
• Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes and ways to alleviate friction and improve patient and client experiences.
• High School Diploma/GED Required
• CRCR Certification required within 6 months of hire (company paid)

Responsibilities

• Perform admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital.
• Assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity/compliance checks.
• Collect insurance information and process physician orders.
• Explain and obtain signatures on consent forms and distribute patient education materials.
• Screen eligibility and enter benefit data to support POS and billing processes.
