The role requires pre-registration, POS collections, and strong customer service, with focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance. On-site at Ardent - UT Health Athens in Athens, TX.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Must be inquisitive and open to innovation including AI.

Responsibilities

• Perform admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital.
• Assign accurate MRNs and collect insurance information.
• Complete medical necessity / compliance checks and provide patient instructions.
• Explain general consent forms and obtain necessary signatures.
• Review eligibility and enter benefit data to support POS and billing.
• Screen medical necessity using ABN software and document accordingly.
• Pre-register patient accounts and handle point of service collections.
