Job summary

Ensemble is hiring an Entry Level Patient Access Specialist to perform admitting duties for hospital services at Mercy - St Elizabeth Boardman Hospital in Boardman, OH. This on-site role offers growth opportunities and a supportive team dedicated to excellent patient experiences.

The position pays $17.00 to $18.15 per hour, with a part-time schedule 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED Required.
• CRCR Certification within 6 months of hire (Company Paid).
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• On-site work at Mercy - St Elizabeth Boardman Hospital, Boardman, OH.

Responsibilities

• Assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity checks with insurance data.
• Operate the telephone switchboard and relay calls as applicable.
• Explain general consent forms and obtain necessary signatures.
• Support point-of-service collections and billing processes to aid a clean claim rate.
• Conduct audits and provide statistical data to Patient Access leadership.
