TEKsystems is seeking a Patient Service Representative for an onsite role in Dover, DE. You will greet and register patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and coordinate with insurers and attorneys as needed.

This contract-to-hire position emphasizes strong customer service, basic bookkeeping, and proficient use of MS Office within a healthcare-administrative setting.

Qualifications

• Patient-centered mindset with strong customer service skills.
• Healthcare experience preferred but trainable.
• Proficient with computer desktop and MS Office tools.
• Familiarity with basic bookkeeping and accounts receivable fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and next appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Communicate with attorneys, insurers, translation services, and internal teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance authorizations and verifications.
• Prepare intake forms prior to appointments to ensure timely service.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain required authorizations.
• Counsel patients on financial responsibility at time of service.
• Meet quality assurance goals and follow control procedures.
• Communicate effectively to resolve issues and maintain a safe environment.
