Ensemble Health Partners in Reading, PA is seeking an entry-level Patient Access Specialist to join our on-site team. In this role you will perform admitting duties for hospital patients, verify insurance, collect demographics, and ensure compliance while delivering exceptional service.

You will handle phone communications, assist with pre-registration, explain forms, and support POS billing efforts. Required 1+ year of customer service, HS diploma, and CRCR within 6 months.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• High School Diploma/GED Required.
• CRCR Required within 6 months of hire (Company Paid).

Responsibilities

• Perform admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital.
• Collect insurance information and verify medical necessity.
• Explain consent forms and distribute patient education documents.
• Operate the telephone switchboard and provide excellent customer service.
