Job summary

Aston Carter seeks a Parts Customer Service Representative in the Denver area to combine customer service excellence with parts knowledge. You will guide customers through catalogs, identify correct parts, and provide order support in a manufacturing and distribution environment, using ERP systems and multiple software tools.

The role emphasizes accuracy, technical learning, and opportunities for growth in a structured office-based setting, with hybrid flexibility limited.

Qualifications

• Experience identifying, recommending, or fulfilling parts in an industrial or mechanical setting.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional, patient approach.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers.
• Skill in asking effective questions to determine needs.
• Comfort discussing parts, hoses, fittings, and mechanical components.
• Experience navigating product catalogs to identify parts and orders.

Responsibilities

• Speak with customers by phone and email to understand parts needs.
• Ask open- and closed-ended questions to uncover true requirements.
• Assist customers who describe a part or application rather than providing a part number.
• Navigate catalogs and resources to identify appropriate parts and components.
• Recommend suitable alternatives when necessary and provide order support.
• Ensure accuracy when fulfilling orders and document interactions in ERP.
• Handle approximately 15 customer calls per day with high service standards.
• Navigate multiple email inboxes and aliases throughout the day.
• Escalate complex requests to internal technical resources per procedures.
• Discuss parts, hoses, fittings, threads, and similar components with customers.
• Work with ERP and other software systems as part of daily workflow.
