Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Parts Analyst to manage parts release and cataloging for new and existing model launches. You will analyze BOMs, CAD drawings, and reference data to determine optimal service part levels and support global launches.

Hybrid work setup in Dearborn, MI with focus on cross-functional collaboration among Product Development, supply chain, and After Sales. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely feedback to dealers, and ensuring high parts availability through effective project

Qualifications

• 2+ lines of essential PS&L parts analysis and supply chain experience.
• Experience supporting dealerships, supply chain, logistics, and project management related to service parts.
• Familiar with enterprise systems like WERS, CMMS, TeamCenter, and PCII.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Access skills for data analysis and reporting; Alteryx/QlikView a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide program management and parts analysis support for new, current, and past model service parts availability with objective of 98% parts availability at launch.
• Release and catalog service parts to support new model program launches globally for North American lead-engineered lines.
• Analyze drawings, BOMs, and reference data to determine service part levels for vehicle repair.
• Collaborate with Product Development and After Sales/Service to address service level concerns.
• Assess interchangeability of parts across model changes.
• Support PS&L activities including purchasing, supply chain, packaging, quality, and distribution.
• Provide timely dealer and affiliate feedback regarding commodity issues in catalog sections.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time shipments aligned with launch timing.
• Deliver departmental objectives related to parts releasing, cataloging, and catalog quality.
