Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking an OnSite Specialist in Grand Rapids, MI to provide surgical procedural support, manage equipment, and troubleshoot devices during operations and sterilization workflows.

The role requires OR experience, strong communication, and the ability to cover multiple shifts, including on-call and overnight travel if needed. CRCST certification within 6 months is required by policy.

Qualifications

• Operating Room experience and knowledge of anatomy, procedures and techniques preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly in high-stress situations.
• Ability to provide support/coverage on other shifts as needed.
• Willingness for overnight travel and on-call duties within 45 minutes of account.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate and assemble rigid scopes, cameras, light cords, and power instrumentation.
• Perform in-line function testing (leak, sharpness, insulation, power checks).
• Wrap and containerize sets for sterilization per IFU.
• Maintain and update instrument lists in collaboration with SPD leadership.
• Coordinate repairs, replacements, and instrument tracking per hospital protocols.
• Provide liaison between OR, SPD and hospital leadership; coordinate service delivery and data integration.
