Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an InSite Operations Manager II to lead onsite environmental operations at a key customer location. You will organize day-to-day operations to maximize profitability, ensure safe and compliant delivery of services, and plan for ongoing operational needs related to technology, facilities, labor, and equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in operations management or environmental services.
• Training in RCRA, OSHA HAZWOPER (24-hour), and DOT required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee waste management services at a customer site or group of locations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage Health and Safety oversight of onsite employees supporting air, water, and hazardous waste programs.
• Maximize utilization of equipment and manpower to support productivity, service quality, and profitability.
• Develop, monitor, and measure operational and financial KPIs to drive continuous improvement and cost control.
• Establish processes to measure performance of onsite personnel and improve outcomes over time.
• Ensure infrastructure, tools, and staff are equipped for efficient operations.
• Coach, train, and mentor onsite personnel; support succession planning and talent growth.
• Develop and ensure compliance with company and customer policies including health, safety, and operational standards.
• Provide timely reporting and data to upper management on operations, KPIs, and financial performance.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders and Clean Harbors leadership to address issues and optimize program performance.
• Perform other duties to support overall InSite Program success.
