Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an InSite Operations Manager III to lead onsite environmental operations at a key customer location. You will organize day-to-day operations to maximize profitability, ensure safe delivery of services, and plan for ongoing needs related to technology, facilities, labor, and equipment.

You will develop, monitor, and measure performance against operational and financial KPIs while providing strong leadership to the onsite InSite team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in operations management, environmental services, or a related field.
• RCRA training, OSHA 24-hour HAZWOPER training, DOT training.
• Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with internal teams and customers.
• Knowledge of managerial, selling, and equipment operations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience working with P&L statements and providing timely analysis to management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee waste management services at a customer site or group of locations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant delivery.
• Manage and coordinate Health and Safety oversight of onsite employees supporting air, water, and waste programs.
• Ensure utilization of all equipment and manpower is maximized to support productivity and profitability.
• Develop, monitor, and measure KPIs to drive continuous improvement and cost control.
• Establish and maintain processes to measure performance of onsite personnel and improve performance.
• Ensure infrastructure, tools, and staff enable efficient business operations.
• Coach, train, and mentor onsite personnel and support succession planning.
• Develop and ensure compliance with company and customer policies, including EH&S and operational standards.
• Provide timely reporting and data to upper management on operations, KPIs, and financials.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders and Clean Harbors leadership to address issues and optimize programs.
