Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an Hazardous Waste Operations Manager to lead onsite environmental operations at a key customer location. You will organize day-to-day operations to maximize profitability, ensure safe and compliant delivery of services, and plan for ongoing operational needs related to technology, facilities, labor, and equipment.

You will develop, monitor, and measure performance against KPIs while providing strong leadership to the onsite InSite team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (or equivalent combination).
• 5+ years of experience in operations management, environmental services, or related field.
• Certifications: RCRA training, OSHA 24-hour HAZWOPER training, DOT training.
• Strong time management, communication, leadership, and P&L experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee waste management services at a customer site or group of locations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct audits at 3rd party vendors.
• Coordinate Health and Safety oversight of onsite employees supporting customer programs.
• Maximize utilization of equipment and manpower to drive productivity, quality, and profitability.
• Develop, monitor and measure operational and financial KPIs for continuous improvement.
• Provide reporting and data to upper management on operations and performance.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders and Clean Harbors leadership to optimize program performance.
