Job summary

Staff Management | SMX is seeking an Account Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations at a Gardena client site. You will interview and orient new associates, assign workloads, and ensure a safe, productive onsite operation.

The role emphasizes supervising group leads, payroll tasks, and compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years of supervisory experience, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with at least 2 years of supervisory experiences.
• Proven supervisory skills and techniques.
• Experience in training, coaching and performance evaluation.
• Knowledge of MS Office: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word.
• Strong written and spoken communications; excellent interpersonal and customer service.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assign day-to-day workloads and report daily attendance.
• Train, mentor, develop, retain and terminate group leads and associates.
• Supervise daily operations and run pre-shift meetings.
• Track, evaluate and report associate performance and conduct.
• Implement discipline procedures.
• Support recruiting, orientation, and training.
• Assist with payroll approval and processing.
• Complete regular safety checks and accident reports to ensure regulatory compliance.
