Job summary

Via is seeking an Associate General Manager to lead onsite operations in Baton Rouge, driving safe, reliable transportation for riders. You will manage a team of field operators, optimize fleet and schedules, and partner with city stakeholders to align services with community goals.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in operations, a Bachelor’s degree, and a track record of leading teams in fast-paced settings. This is a fully in-person role with 4–5 days onsite and possible early/late shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–6 years of operations management experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Baton Rouge, LA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily onsite operations to ensure safe, reliable transport.
• Make real-time decisions on fleet, driver supply, compliance and rider needs.
• Manage driver lifecycle: scheduling, PTO approvals, inquiries and performance discussions.
• Schedule drivers to meet demand and vehicle availability.
• Serve as operations bridge with city partners, unions and local leaders.
• Leverage data to diagnose issues and improve rider experience.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations.
• Coach and develop a high-performing driver team.
