Job summary

Via is seeking an Associate General Manager to lead on-site operations in Baton Rouge, LA. You will manage a local field team, optimize daily service, safety, and rider experience, and drive continuous improvements.

This role requires 4–6 years of operations leadership, a Bachelor's degree, and a proven ability to manage schedules, unions, and partner relationships in a fast-moving, in-person environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4–6 years of operations management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to be onsite 4–5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily onsite operations of our service and ensure safe, reliable transportation.
• Make real-time decisions about fleet, driver supply, compliance, and rider needs.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle for drivers, including scheduling and PTO approvals.
• Schedule driver work to meet demand.
• Serve as the operational bridge with city partners and community organizations.
• Use data to diagnose problems and improve efficiency and rider experience.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of drivers.
