Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an Onsite Maintenance Engineer to support a high‑end immersive event center in Manhattan, NY. The role is 100% onsite and focuses on ensuring AV systems are prepared and performing at a world‑class level for client events.

Responsibilities include managing DVLED walls, interactive displays, and touch panels while coordinating with client teams and remote technicians. Travel and overtime may be required to meet event needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AV experience in onsite and virtual hybrid live events.
• Experience with digital display technologies, Appspace and BrightSign; supporting executive-level events with polish.
• Knowledge of AV troubleshooting and digital immersive meeting spaces.
• Experience with DVLED video wall deployment and maintenance (NanoLumens), Cyviz windowing/presentation controllers, and touch-enabled DVLED systems.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing AV operations in a digital immersive client event environment.
• Support AV sessions and events professionally and polished.
• Serve as primary escalation point for immersive digital display technologies and AV system performance.
• Daily AV health checks and maintenance; communicate discrepancies to clients.
