Job summary

AVI-SPL, Inc. is seeking a Senior A/V Support Engineer to lead onsite technical operation and maintenance for the Executive Conference Center and high-profile collaboration spaces in New York.

You will provide white-glove AV support for executive meetings, live productions, and hybrid events, acting as the primary technical lead for complex systems. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional AV experience in enterprise conference centers or live production spaces.
• Strong experience with Zoom Rooms, Q-SYS, Dante, NDI, and video systems.
• Advanced troubleshooting across AV hardware, networking, and signal distribution.
• Excellent communication for executive leadership and high-profile events.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3 AV technical support for executive meetings, client events, town halls, and hybrid productions.
• Support production-grade AV systems including audio mixers, video switchers, PTZ cameras, Q-SYS DSP/control, Dante audio, NDI, IPTV, and AV-over-IP.
• Own the daily operation and maintenance of the Executive Conference Center and other spaces.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of AV, networking, control systems, audio, and video signal flow; primary escalation point.
• Assist in pre-event testing, technical rehearsals, onsite event support, and post-event system validation.
• Coordinate with AV Engineering, Workplace, IT, Networking, vendors, and event stakeholders for successful events.
• Maintain system documentation, firmware, inventory, and standards; identify improvement opportunities.
• Support commissioning of new AV systems and deployment of enterprise AV standards.
