Job summary

KB Home is seeking a New Home Sales Counselor to engage prospective buyers, explain the benefits of our newly constructed homes, and guide clients through the closing process. You will meet buyers, showcase models and home sites, discuss floor plans and options, and coordinate with our lender for financing.

The role requires a flexible schedule, strong communication, and the ability to work in a field-based, onsite environment at one of KB Home’s communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven sales experience, especially in new homes.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with social media to drive sales traffic is a plus.
• Ability to use MS Office and CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors with literature and information.
• Demonstrate models, homes, and sites and discuss floor plans.
• Overcome objections and close sales with customer satisfaction.
• Refer financing questions to lender KBHS.
• Document sales, follow up on loan apps, monitor sales and cancellations.
• Conduct weekly follow-up calls with buyers until closing.
• Keep models and community maintained and clean.
• Keep marketing materials updated and ready.
• Generate 50% of new prospects via networking and referrals.
• Create CMA and data-driven tools to sell homes.
• Contact real estate brokers and present to attract them.
• Host grand openings and community events.
