Job summary

KB Home is seeking a dynamic New Home Sales Counselor to meet prospective buyers, present benefits of KB Home communities, and close sales. This field-based role involves touring models, walking communities, and coordinating with a preferred lender for financing options.

The ideal candidate has sales experience, strong communication, and the ability to network with brokers and buyers. Evening/weekend availability and local travel are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous sales experience required; new home sales is a plus.
• Experience using social media to drive sales traffic strongly preferred.
• Ability to connect with people and maintain professional relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication, team-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft apps and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel between communities and work evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors with literature and information about homes.
• Respond to customer requests and provide detailed information.
• Demonstrate models and homes, discuss floor plans and options.
• Overcome objections and close sales with customer satisfaction.
• Receive offers and refer financing questions to KBHS lender.
• Document transactions and follow up on loans and cancellations.
• Conduct weekly follow-ups with buyers through to closing.
• Keep all models and community grounds well maintained.
• Update marketing materials and distribute them as needed.
• Generate new prospects through networking and referrals.
• Create CMA and other data-driven tools to inform sales.
• Reach out to real estate brokers and host events to attract them.
