Job summary

Ohio Logistics Findlay distribution center is seeking an experienced Human Resources Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join our HR team. This role handles multi-state payroll, benefits administration, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws, delivering accurate payroll processing and employee support across locations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on multi-state payroll experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to partner with managers, accounting, and benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• 3–5 years of payroll and benefits administration experience, including multi-state processing.
• Experience managing payroll across multiple states with wage and hour knowledge.
• Proficiency with Paycor HRIS or similar payroll platform.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and bi-weekly multi-state payroll accurately and on time.
• Administer employee benefit programs including health, 401(k), COBRA, and leave programs.
• Coordinate year-end payroll activities (W-2, 1099) and payroll reporting.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, and audits related to payroll and benefits.
• Reconcile payroll data with accounting and assist month-end close.
• Provide payroll and benefits support to managers and employees.
