Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking an Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to service client fleets on site. You will maintain equipment, perform on-site maintenance, and use diagnostic tools to ensure trucks meet specifications.

Requirements include 5+ years as a Class 7/8 technician, a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to travel to client locations. CDL preferred but not required; ASE certifications are valued. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or similar facility.
• CDL is preferred but not required; medical card as per FMVSS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to standards.
• Handle on-site maintenance and service calls for client trucks.
• Manage inventory on the service truck and keep vehicle stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and perform assigned duties daily.
• Available for after-hours service calls and flexible schedule.

Skills

5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8

Mechanical aptitude

CDL preferred
