Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking an Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to maintain fleets for clients and to handle on-site service calls, delivering expedited expertise directly to customers’ trucks and equipment.

You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance using diagnostic tools and manage service truck inventory, staying available for after-hours calls. A high school diploma and 5 years as a Class 7/8 technician are required; CDL preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins, & ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including fueling, oil checks, cleanliness, and inspections.
• Manage inventory on the service truck and keep vehicle stocked.
