Job summary

GSK Solutions Inc. is seeking a Mobile Deployment Technician for an on-site, 8-month engagement in Charlotte, NC. The contractor will deploy and configure County mobile devices, align with Evergreen Refresh, and provide first-line support for end users.

Responsibilities include coordinating device deployments, securing e-cycling, and maintaining accurate deployment records. Strong knowledge of iOS and MDM platforms is preferred, with a focus on IT security and customer service.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with deploying and configuring mobile devices (iOS).
• Experience with MDM platforms (Intune, AirWatch, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills for device scheduling and handoffs.
• Commitment to IT security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Configure and set up mobile devices per Evergreen Refresh program.
• Coordinate deployments to end users including scheduling and handoff.
• Receive, process, and track devices for secure e-cycling and disposal per policy.
• Provide first-level support for issues on County-issued devices.
• Collaborate with the Unified Endpoint Management team to minimize disruption.
• Maintain deployment, inventory, and support documentation.
• Ensure IT security standards are followed during deployment and support.
