Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Mining Construction Coordinator (Site Services) to oversee onsite construction support for a large mining EPCM project. This full-time onsite role is open to candidates across the United States, with preference for Nevada, Utah, or proximity to major mining sites.

You will manage scoping, scheduling, and oversight of site services contractors, ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and alignment with project calendars. Travel per diem is available for non-local hires.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in large-scale heavy civil construction/mining infrastructure.
• Experience coordinating multiple vendors on active mining projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage scoping/purchasing, scheduling, coordination, and oversight of site services contractors and services (e.g., temporary facilities, security, utilities, road maintenance, surveyors, emergency response, site radio and internet).
• Develop and manage execution plans, schedules, and costs to align site services with the overall project schedule.
• Serve as the interface between WSP construction management team and contractors/service providers for effective communication, on-budget delivery, and risk mitigation.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.
• Maintain daily records, assist in validating invoices and change orders, and QAQC inspection of services.
• Exercise ethical decision-making regarding company funds and resources per policy.
